Then you say it's not about what the fans want
No, I'm quite intelligent. I think you're shockingly dumb though.
Your thread posed the question what we want to see on the album. I said that I don't want to be able to predict it, and I don't want life subject-mater, that's right.
But I am saying: Eminem does not owe me that. And he also does not owe you introspective content. It ISN'T about what I / the fans want. But you asked, and I answered.
I can still have an opinion on what I want, and think he should still do it for himself and not care about what I want. So there's no conflict there. My mind is perfectly made up, fool.
AmmoHaze wrote:1 min you say The Eminem Show is his best album musically the next min it's a diffrent story
I still say
The Eminem Show is his best album musically and lyrically. When has the story changed? go through any of my posts mentioning his albums and you'll find consistent opinions.
Musically, and lyrically do not = artistically. I think
The Marshall Mathers LP is his artistic masterpiece, and what I consider him a genius for. But in terms of music, cohesive structure, production, flows and consistency?
The Eminem Show for sure.
Also, introspective content from him on
The Eminem Show was not redundant in 2002. But, quick update for ya: we're in 2012. It was still fairly new in 2002, most people still didn't know the whole story of his life and he was still opening up, it was still fresh. But most importantly, that album was written 'in the moment' of his peak of fame, it's more about that. And it's also political.
The Eminem Show is as much conceptual as it is personal. Is "White America" an uplifting personal record? is "Business"? is "Square Dance"? is "Without Me"? - there's plenty of personal content and views within all the records, but most are conceptual, or have a point.
At this point however, it's just introspection, he's already hammered that nail.
Just because I don't want introspective content now or for his album to be dominated by it doesn't mean I don't like his past content of that nature either, which is a point your tiny mind can't seem to grasp. Ahh, I think it's because I have more than one brain-cell, so I can crave more than one thing; don't strain yourself, your head might explode. Actually, go ahead.

I don't listen to music to bump it in a car or chat up women you loser. If this is why you want certain content then you must be a desperate, superficial person.
If I want therapeutic advancement; I look to psychology, and psycho-analysis; I really don't need Em to sing how I'm 'beautiful' to get me through my depression. It's a little deeper than a five minute song. I listen to his music to be blown away by creativity, I want to be wowed, not cuddled.
I also don't want aimless serial-killer content; but you're too stupid to understand the points I make or get what kind of music or content I actually do want, you just can't grasp a point with more than one dimension, your sweat glands work overtime when you see more than ten words.
You keep bumping predictable, repetitive 'deep' music that helps you not kill your... actually, why don't you eh, try not listening for a while (please stop listening and kill yourself). Get back to me when you get some taste, and the ability to grasp a concept.
