Kendrick Lamar/Eminem Track Will Definitely Happen

Many fans got their hopes up when a rumor circulated on the Internet that Kendrick Lamar had linked up for a collaboration with Lady Gaga and Eminem. Now, in a recent interview with Montreality, K. Dot talks about the possibility of work with the Detroit legend.

Kendrick said that he actually did bump into Eminem at one point, and while their meeting was brief, he did say that Em told him that he was a fan of his music. The TDE emcee also added that while the rumored collaboration earlier today proved to be a hoax, fans can "definitely" expect to hear the two rappers on a track in the future, though not for his good kid, m.A.A.d city project.

"Yes I have met [Eminem] - it was real brief," he said. "I'm not gonna get in the studio with him [this time], but we bumped heads and he said he's a fan of my music. The fact that I'm part of the [Interscope/Aftermath] family, we'll see each other…you can definitely expect a record [from us], definitely."

Eminem better bring his "A" game and not fuck it up or he'll get embarrassed.

You're probably right. I bet the track will be deep too, Kendrick is a deep guy and doesn't talk about "throwing his dick on you, girl." (Not dissing Eminem, he can make funny tracks). Anyway, I'm hyped for it, but I just want Eminem to take it seriously.

Not if they both do their best. This could be better than Renegade (it'd be hard to do) if they put their minds together, but Eminem would have to depart from his wife beater subject matter (if he doesn't, well then he will get embarrassed.)

Em would never get embarrassed even at this stage, due to his flow, precise delivery and off-centre phrasing. Wouldn't matter if Kendrick had a ton of better lines or had much more substance in what he was saying, Em will sound more entertaining and impressive, just due to his flow.

I'm not saying this as in 'Eminem is incapable of being bad', I just mean; his flows always make him sound the best on the track, they're always the most thought-out and cemented.

Fuck it, I'm just saying that if Eminem brings his Throw it Up subject matter into and Kendrick goes left field and does something deep, Eminem would look stupid (that's not to say not entertaining, two different things.)

You haven't listened to a K.Dot song. That dude is one of the most lyrical to ever do it, the gap is way smaller than you let on and there really isn't a gap...

i like them both but i like Em more because i've liked him since around 2000. and only heard k.dot like a year and half ago so... yeah collab will be fire tho i REALLY hope it happens.
