I actually did work experience at HMV and they do get stock very early, albums included so who knows he could be legit.

yeah i dont think people realize how early some stores get things in. example: last year my friend payed a guy at gamestop to sell him a video game two weeks before release date.

But Labels are really more careful about the leaks now. Seems like every big album only leaks 6/7 days before the release date.
