Some of the beats are way too busy. Too much going on sound wise. Otherwise theres actually some interesting beats here, they just over do it. The vocals are drowned on a lot of the songs, like the volume is too low or there too much shit going on to hear them properly.

The production in general sounds schizophrenic. Like somebody with ADD made the album.

It's funny how everyone is hating on the mixing and that's what Em mostly did. He fucked it up lol. I really hope this sound miles better when I get the cd.

Asylum is good because it has some character and originality about it. It's atmospheric. The rest just sounds all over the place, on the whole.

I wasn't expecting much as I'm not really a SH fan but I expected something more interesting than this.

I don't think the mixing is really a problem. I enjoyed the album. It's funny how this thread went from "OMG THIS IS GREAT" to "OMG THE MIXING IS AWFUL" in a few pages.
