Rescue Me is fucking amazing. Dat Beat.

Based on one listen and a couple listens of random songs, I'd give the album a 7.5/10, but I can see it increasing once I start paying attention to the lyrics more.

Park It Sideways is the song that stands out the most to me, mainly because the beat is godlike.

I think this album's amazing. For those who don't like the production style on this, keep in mind that this is their first attempt to breaking out into the mainstream scene, so this album to me seems experimental. So based on the reception of the album, they'll go off that.

Listening to The Slaughter then Em's bridge on the beginning of Our House...damn, that sounds magical.
Speaking of Our House, having listened to it quite enough...Every time I hear Em's verse I remember his flow on G.O.A.T :( (the lyrics are still fire tho)

Oh and Crooked on Coffin' was weak...on my 5th listen now, more things are becoming clearer to me now.

I thought I was the only one.. It reminded me of GOAT too. But the fact that his voice wasn't like in that period made it better.

Crooked kills Our House though, and Joell too. Actually I should listen to everything and post my favorite member on each song.

The complex vid of today is too funny.

When it comes to production, after the amount of input from em they dont have a reason to not have the production good imo, he is pretty experienced at it after all. That said i dont think it is bad anyway, i dont get why y'all dont like it  my only real issue with the album is that the mixtape will be overlooked now that the album has been leaked, which is a shame because the mixtape is growing on me tbh.

speaking of the mixtape.. Coming home and Juggernaut should have been on the album instead of a couple of other songs imo

Considering that Slaughterhouse are a battle-rap group, the production seems pretty appropriate. Bombastic, if a little bit generic.

There are some real gems though, like Park it Sideways.

I think it will get a lot of great reviews. And once they have that and let time pass for a while, they can find a certain medium where they can have their production on their third album that'll captivate mainstream listeners AND please the underground heads while keeping it lyrical. Not that they didn't here, but they may go closer to the line of that.

I didn't pay too much attention to Hammer Dance when it came out, but it sounds really good along the rest of the songs in the album. Same with My Life, although I always liked it.

Flip a bird is getting so much love?
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.
