He was basically rambling though lol. Pretty sure he understood what everything meant, he was just showing how stupid it sounds on paper lol.

Dont think it's solid at all. He keeps churning out these mediocre, wacky lyrics talking about gonads, ding-a-lings, richards, dicks and any other possible related synonyms and then incorporates them into incoherent, random verses usually with at least a couple of cringe-worthy punchlines included along with redundant misogynistic content.

If all of this was technically pleasing on the ear I wouldn't be complaining but it's not. Choppy, uneven, erratic flows that never go anywhere. This has been a theme for all his features this year: Five utterly forgettable feature performances in a row if I'm not mistaken.

When you consider it was just last year that he was dropping awesome verses with Royce Da 5'9 on Tim Westwood /watch?v=d85gbofl7pI&feature=related you have to start wondering just what the fuck is going on with Em.

It honestly did sound like rambling though. It actually reminded me of his drugged out songs when first listening to it. Obviously his flow made it worse but still.

Sounded like he was struggling to get anything out and it was surprisingly simplistic for an Eminem song, even in 2012.

Did you listen to the album or just the Em verse?

The whole album is full of lines like that from all five rappers.

Sir you & accor are obviously extremely obsessed stans who get mad when something Em does isn't perfect to you or wait minute... TES-ish. :shakehead:

After listening to this song several more times, I still like it. I'm working my way through the album and having heard 70% of it, I think there's definitely a number of good songs and the album wont flop.

About this song and Em...

I've realized the only bigger perfectionists than Em are his fans. I feel like people here won't be happy with anything less than "Eminem Show caliber" songs...maybe that's stretching it. Anyways, I don't think this was his best verse but it was awful and at least he didn't rattle off a hook saying he's faded faded faded faded...it could be A LOT worse guys. What I think is going on is that he might actually be having "writer's block." Not in the sense that he cant construct complex ryhmes but that he doesn't have a ton to rap about in a single verse, which is all we've seen from Em recently. That being said, with his voice sounding much better and relaxed (many compared it to his earlier days) I believe he'll put together a kickass album with themes and complex GOOD SOUNDING ryhmes for his next solo album. So relax and enjoy the music. If you absolutely can't tolerate it, listen to TES...I do everyday anyways :)

Turning out to be my favorite song on the album but I do feel my self drifting away at Ems verse. He could have done something a lot better and it seems like his part was a lot longer than anyone else. Could have cut it down a little and thrown a bigger Joey part in. Sometimes less is more.

Thought this was basically the same flow as used on Kiss where all of Trshady creamed their pants lol

Not a fan of this flow, thought the verse was decent not great, not shit just ok. He has been spitting over some god damn awful beats Post Relapse (So Bad and a few on Hell the Sequel excluded). So Bad was so easy on the ear over a simple Dre Beat. Should really follow that direction for his next album in terms of Delivery and Production.

Em's verse says to me that he's definetely in the right place to give us an extremely good album. Do people think he's going to put a verse with meaningful content on slaughterhouse's album when he only has limited subject matter for his own album. No! For me it's about his voice and his flow..He's way past the screaming now and when he does put force into his lyrics it comes out in the right way. This has excited me. Not a fan of the beat!

Drop The World, The Warning, Forever, Going Through Changes, Ridaz, On Fire, Untitled, Cold Wind Blows, Almost Famous, Space Bound and Session One weren't awful beats.

The only thing that irks me about the song (believe it or not) is the way Royce says, "On airplanes like B.o.B." When it should have been, "On airplanes with B.o.B.," using a simile just doesn't sound right.

Is it just the quality or is Em's voice so soft you can't hardly hear what he's saying. The first 3 are fine then Em's isn't nearly as strong. Either way don't like the verse. I get it he's trying to go another direction but it's like he completely forgot how to rap like he did on his first 3 albums. Maybe it's just his writings gone downhill idk. Hooks are good though.
