Royce will never say "not bad" "it's alright" or something like that as long as it's Em's music. Royce's opinion about it cannot be objective. Still I'm pretty psyched now. Em wouldn't have let Royce hear it unless he's satisfied and confident. To me, that means something

thats one thing that bothers me, is that it doesnt matter, he will make it sound like the best thing of the past 30 years no matter what it is. plus, i mean if it were accents like relapse he coulda said the same thing tbh

I agree. Royce would have said something or at least given away a hint if it sounded like Relapse. Plus Em said he ain't going back to that now. lol

I have a feeling that most of the album will sound like the art of rap freestyle. I also sense a Without Me 2.0 type single.

It'll be nearly all double time, full of corny "metaphors" as he calls his punchlines, and he'll have that bizarre flow he's been using post-Recovery.

And you are gonna post a bunch of annoying posts that make me question why you're here if you have nothing useful to say or contribute.

He co-produced every track and made Asylum and We Did It.

Em mixed every song on the album except The Other Side, and Throw It Away.

I don't know if this makes a difference, but in the booklet it says he co-produced Coffin, Throw That, My Life, Flip a Bird, Frat House, Goodbye, Our Way, Walk of Shame, and Place to Be

Then it says "Additional Production" which Em did on Hammer Dance, Get Up, Throw It Away, and Park It Sideways, now the difference between co-produce and additional production I have no idea, if there even is one.

For the record the songs Em actually fully produced are The Slaughter (intro), We did it (skit), and Asylum.

The songs that he did not touch (producing wise not mixing for the first three anyway) are Our House, Rescue Me, Die and The Other Side

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think co-produced would be like Em sitting down with the producer and making the beat WITH THEM, whereas additional production is just like him taking a beat and adding some shit.

I believe Em had something to do with almost every beat, I can hear Em's influence all over these beats.

(Sorry for the double post, did not realize I did it...sorry again mods)

I expect a solid Eminem album in general... I'm not exited from what Royce said though. They've been doing this for years, they don't give real info about new projects but hype things up or drop some half mouth ish instead. Talk is cheap.

I just need some songs like "Like Toy Soliders", "Mockingbird" and "When I'm Gone"
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

That makes sense, in the RapFix interview Royce said that the four of them picked the beats, and recorded the songs by themselves and when they were done gave Em about 40 songs to work with. He then picked the songs on the album and added instrumentals, snares, and whatnot to make the beats better. That is why it is so stupid to say that Em made Slaughterhouse make "pop" songs. He didn't even hear them until the beats were picked and they were already recorded.
