He co-produced every track and made Asylum and We Did It.

Em mixed every song on the album except The Other Side, and Throw It Away.

I don't know if this makes a difference, but in the booklet it says he co-produced Coffin, Throw That, My Life, Flip a Bird, Frat House, Goodbye, Our Way, Walk of Shame, and Place to Be

Then it says "Additional Production" which Em did on Hammer Dance, Get Up, Throw It Away, and Park It Sideways, now the difference between co-produce and additional production I have no idea, if there even is one.

For the record the songs Em actually fully produced are The Slaughter (intro), We did it (skit), and Asylum.

The songs that he did not touch (producing wise not mixing for the first three anyway) are Our House, Rescue Me, Die and The Other Side

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think co-produced would be like Em sitting down with the producer and making the beat WITH THEM, whereas additional production is just like him taking a beat and adding some shit.

I believe Em had something to do with almost every beat, I can hear Em's influence all over these beats.

I expect a solid Eminem album in general... I'm not exited from what Royce said though. They've been doing this for years, they don't give real info about new projects but hype things up or drop some half mouth ish instead. Talk is cheap.

I just need some songs like "Like Toy Soliders", "Mockingbird" and "When I'm Gone"
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

That makes sense, in the RapFix interview Royce said that the four of them picked the beats, and recorded the songs by themselves and when they were done gave Em about 40 songs to work with. He then picked the songs on the album and added instrumentals, snares, and whatnot to make the beats better. That is why it is so stupid to say that Em made Slaughterhouse make "pop" songs. He didn't even hear them until the beats were picked and they were already recorded.

Wasn't Royce who say not long ago that he had no idea about the new album because Eminem locks himself in the studio and doesn't let anybody enter...??

i hope EM is making this album without any compromising work for the fans and aiming or having the willingness to top his past works rather than settling for anything less than a classic just to satisfy his mainstream fans. He should have that hunger inside him for being a top lyricist in the game and making an album which will have some kind of game changing effect. Having that free mind for thoughts and ideas and do what he wants to. and then nothing will sound forced. He should be the perfectionist he IS.

On point indeed... as a matter a fact it's crazy how EM lines relate to anything happening in their own circle or everybody else's one.
On topic, Aftermath & Shady camps always used that gossip way because they are very strict with all new/old projects & all the info about them.

Ha! I was going to say "if you're really feeling froggish, leap"

Remember what Yela said about Eminem's feature on his album-- "you've never heard eminem lie this" etc etc and it was just a throw away verse :( I still get excited for new Eminem material no matter what though.

I get what you're saying but I didn't really meant that in negative way... like if Royce hypes it up but I don't expect it to be good. I do expect a great album but it's very long time since I last got exited about half mouth ish or the ''it's coming SOON'' term. Yeah, It goes out exactly like Yela did it, just that it started way back. The worse thing about it (not in this case of course) is when they hype things up & get the hopes up but change plans on the way. Just one of the many examples... Young Buck is on the radio just before he's about to drop his first album & he's like... ''Yo I can't wait y'all to hear my record with EM It's crazy! We go off on some crazy rock beat & EM goes rock all the way, nobody has heard him this way. It's crazy!'' Then Jimmy decides EM is watering down his sound with too many features & we never hear that song.
Again, talk is cheap! Real, official info is what gets me exited even though a lotta official songs/albums got delayed often or never happened as well. For example we don't count ''King Mathers' which could get shelved for many reasons but it was really crazy to announce 2 Relapse albums & to even have a skit on the first one about 2 albums coming but to then change plans on the way again.

name wrote:Maybe "I'm not sure how the world will react to Eminem's new lyrics" isn't implying it's creativity, originality and superiority compared to his previous effort. Maybe he's hinting at it's repetitiveness and unoriginality compared to his previous effort, maybe he's hinting that Eminem will do the same thing he's been doing in songs like Throw That and Richard.

Just saying.

Did you actually watch the video and see him say it in context? Because that doesn't fit with what Royce actually said at all.
