I want SH to sell but I'm not gonna buy it if it's a bunch of trash like Young Money albums. In my opinion, the radio will always play Nicki Minaj before they play a group named "Slaughterhouse" because 90% of the listeners are female and probably want to hear some wack-ass beat with autotune all over it.

Yeah Geno is right, it all comes down to the radio listeners that love wack-ass dancing/popy beats, A group like Slaughterhouse would not appeal to the young brain-dead kids that listen to Nicki and Drake etc.

Trimss it is promoting, but its also what the majority listen to and the majority are looking for tracks that they can dance too and the representation of "swag" and whatever would get them laid lol

^ The beats on WTOH aren't any different than what you hear on Radio. The songs are better, though.

Yes Trimss I understand that but the lyrics of Slaughterhouse do not correspond to the radio listeners appeal. and to add Slaughterhouse is full of 30+ year old rappers that are probably not relatable to those listeners and I believe they look for that. Slaughterhouse is frankly not a radio friendly group

I can agree with that. :y: I still think they could've done better with the right singles, and if Interscope cared about artists who aren't Eminem and Gaga.

Though Yelawolf IS radio friendly. He has a unique sound and all, I swear if he was on Young Money or GOOD he'd be everywhere.

Oh definitely, you are right the numbers would've been greater if promoted correctly an if Interscope cared for artist other than Em and Gaga.

and the same with Yelawolf, He could've been the biggest artist out right now... fuck interscope

It's not the greatest but debuting at number 2 isn't a flop for Slaughterhouse. Their previous album opened up at 18,600 the first week. 50,995 is not the strongest, but a major improvement. Some albums have legs and if the start is stronger than Yela's album which is around 148,000 albums sold now, they should be alright.
And everything's spinning
You're beginin' to think women
are swimming in pink linen again in the sink
Then in a couple of minutes that bottle of Guinness is finished

Yea tbh it's still a major sales boost compared to their last album. I don't think anyone could have seriously expected them to do anything huge
