Come on...
You love SSLP, ye? You love MMLP, ye?
RELAPSE IS THE SAME THING! But with accents and another type of beats. It's lyrical as fuck, he take shots at all the current big stars, he makes a fool of his mom and dad, he talks about drugs. I think songs like Beautiful and Crack A Bottle sucks but the rest are up there with MMLP and SSLP. The only difference is that "The Way I Am"-type songs aren't on there, but songs like My Name Is, I'm Back, Remeber Me and so on has songs on Relapse that are similar. Havn't you listend to the lyrics? Just because he screams on Recovery doesn't mean he's back to that evil, angry, blonde we all love.

My fave Eminem album is The Eminem Show. My fave song from The Slim Shady LP is Rock Bottom/If I Had these songs made me a fan they are timeless to me, my fave song from The marshall Mathers LP is The Way I Am. Only song i really loved from Relapse are Beautiful and Deja Vu. The reason i don't like Relapse is cos i think the content, subject matter, topics are poor, i thought the production was below average and the accent was also wack. But Beautiful and Deja Vu were gems like diamonds in the dirt on that album. I like the emotional and deep Eminem that's the Eminem we all love maybe not you but most.

Yeah, we get it, you like deep Eminem, you said that over 9000 times now. Eminem would laugh at your posts, just quit nagging about "deep Eminem" because that's the biggest reason everyone hates you, Aftermathers.

First off, you do care or you wouldn't argue back.

Second off, you never said anything about your opinion. You said "Relapse is a weak album and can't be bumped after 1-2 listens" as if it was fact. You never said anything about YOUR opinion.

;)

PS: I would still LOVE to hear your answer on whether or not Encore is better than Relapse.

Mockingbird, We As Americans, Mosh, Spend Some Time, Ricky Ticky Tock, Like Toy Soldier, Love You More>>>>>>>>any song on Relapse not named Beautiful and Deja Vu the content, song writting, emotion, substance, hooks, beats in these songs can't compare to the bad content, serial killing raps on Relapse

I'll agree on Love You More...that's honestly it. Spend Some Time is a classic verse but not classic song.

If you'd read between the lines, you would see that Relapse is more personal than you give it credit for. He tells all these wild fantasy stories, these are fucked up thoughts in his head. That's what "Slim Shady" is. Relapse was a VERY big way for him to escape and was a way for us to peer into his mind...

Plus, Stay Wide Awake > Encore by itself. The lyrical prowess is insane. He was a much better writer on Relapse, he was lazy as fuck on Encore. Even the decent tracks were lazy. Love You More is the only song from the Encore era (and it was before Encore) that I would say is better than any song on Relapse.

Is there even a deep Em? I think many people have misunderstood him. For example if you look on all these Twitteraccounts that posts Eminem quotes they are always posting stuff like "You only get one shot", "Don't ever say you ain't beautiful", "We walk this road together" and so on. That's not Eminem. Are people only listening to 10 songs of his whole catalog? Have everybody forgot lines like "I ain't acid rap but I rap on acid", "Just bend over and take it like a slut! Okay, ma'?" or never heard of the songs on Bad Meets Evil EP with lines like "Where the fuck's this party at, slutbag, cunt, what? Cut what act?"

The rapper Eminem (well Marshall may be) isn't deep (in that sort of way you mean). He's angry, absurd and evil. And thats why he had the whole world against him in the early 2000s, like gay-right-activists. And that's why we all love him, because we have the same twsted humor and we love how someone so talented with words can say stuff on the mic that no one else can say.

for relapse well his emotions were not outbursting as in recovery but he was definitely focused and created a concept album.
But ur argument that without Passion his song sucks is flawed cuz many emotional songs on recovery are not on PAR with the LEVEL of STAY WIDE AWAKE <- This song is not about his hunger for success. its just a serial killer concept song and yet regarded as par with his vintage material

Yeah after dropping a weak album with Relapse that couldn't be listened to after 1-2 listens and an album with that kinda content and lack of replay. He came back and dropped a monster of a great album with Recovery straight passion.

Relapse is my most bumped Eminem album after The Eminem Show. Destroys your argument "couldn't be listened to after 1-2 listens." Relapse is NOT a weak album. In fact it's very strong and cohesive. I'm guessing you believe Encore is better than Relapse too? :flutter:

Not to say your opinion is invalid, but even Em said himself that he felt Relapse had no replay value. He said something along the lines of "I felt the joke was gone after one listen"

I guess if Em said it, we aren't supposed to like it anymore, right?

Right. Now you get it. :y:

But really, I hate when retarded Em fans bring that up. So what? My CD Player in my car says otherwise, I STILL spin that shit.

if the sllp was mentioned at all i might consider agreeing, but as his first and literal only chance to make it, he had to have passion

You said Relapse had replay value and basically that everyone who thought otherwise was wrong. I was just bringing up the fact that even the artist who made the album and thought it was good enough to put out thought there wasn't replay value.

I don't care about your opinion, think it's awesome. Cool. Who the fuck cares. But there is justification as to why others wouldn't agree other than being "retarded Em fans." It's like someone calling you a deluded Stan for liking Relapse.

By the way I happen to really enjoy Relapse but I can completely understand how others would think that it has no replay value.

and even still any eminem fan i feel would at least have 4-5 songs that had replay value imo, esp if you include the bonus tracks

There are some tracks that I generally tend to avoid on Relapse but a majority I can listen to even now and have no problem with it. Those bonus tracks :flutter:
But as sad as it is many people take whatever Em says as the end all opinion so when he says Relapse = bad replay, they think so too.

that and the song with dre, but the song with dre annoyed me idk why the accent and content were weak imo, not the rhymes tho

I think it'd be better with a better beat. The beat is kinda weird lol.

I hope his next album has a funny lead single with a dope beat like TRSS.

yeah funny but dope like trss or without me would be sick, but im not totally sure we'll get it or i want a soon to be (will be by then) 40 year old doing that type of song
