Royce was just as at fault as the rest of D12 was. There seems to be a LOT of lapses in his story. Like how Proof went from laughing about it to wanting to shoot him?

Does anyone know specifically what Royce said about Bugz (or I guess Bizarre, as he's saying) btw?

The lapse in that is between the time when he originally wrote it to 3 years later when the beef kicked off. He's saying Proof didn't care about it then, but he let the beef get to his head to the point that he started acting all crazy.

Personally, I think this was one of the dumbest fucking beefs in history.

I'm not sure Royce would have ever made it out of Aftermath though.

His work ethic wouldn't have meshed well with Dre. He's too sloppy, too much drinking and bullshit. Dre is a perfectionist. He would have just been a ghostwriter on the payroll.

I do think Royce got fucked in the beef though. They really set him up to look like the attack came from out of nowhere, and I think everyone pretty much hated the dude for a while. I can't help but think it was born out of jealousy to some extent, and that D12 really kind of pumped it up for publicity.

Maybe I'm wrong. If this hadn't happened though, Royce would have fucked it all up on his own one way or the other.

I don't think he ever truly had anything against Em, and he obviously had a ton of respect for the dude.

Yes. You're completely right. They hated him, and didn't want em with him. Royce is more talented than all of D12 (except em of course). He's like Hopsin. A couple of amazing songs, can diss like a monster, but then he gets sloppy, and stops making good music.

I'm interested in the parts about proof not fucking with Em cuz of 50. And royce doesnt seem to blame here to be honest. His talent has always been there, and proof seems just as hardheaded as royce himself. Wonder if its still awkward these days lol...

It makes sense that Proof/D12 might get jealous about being benched for 50. Royce handled not only this but his career as a whole just so terribly though, I don't really respect him or like him that much, though I like HTS.
