I have no idea what Eminem could rap about at this point.

If he raps similar to MLLP, people will say he hasn't grown up

If he raps similar to TES, people will say it was forced and the same concept as TES

If he raps about his dick or fast food, people will complain, if he collabs with pop stars
people will complain.

If he reintroduces old concepts like stan or his mom people will say that it's old

So there really isn't much he could rap about, people will complain on his next album.
Let's face the facts and wake up and smell the coffee. Having said that, I did like
HCTW because of his voice.

What would I do if I was Eminem? Im thinking I might just spazz out and piss everyone off
again. Listen. Is rapping about dicks a mature thing? My point is that Eminem could only
gain more fame if he did this. He doesn't need it, but many of us would love it. He needs
to make us ''believe'' he's crazy all over again. Like make us think he's gone psychotic and
just say fuck it! Just be a jerk! Sort of like the no apology concept!

He has never made a song about his father leaving him and his mother so i expect a song about this will be on the album, also expecting a song about Hailie growing up and becoming a teenager a happy song about how proud he is to see that transition, expecting a song about how he has forgiven his mother and how he appreciates her now.

I have no time to read the whole thing, so I only read the OP. but I doubt very much that he is going to talk about Kim or his mom, or Hailie. He does not seem comfortable talking about those things anymore.

I think it's cos he cares too much what certain people most who aren't even fans think like they say it's soft or not hardcore so i think he should not worry about them and do what makes him happy

No. I think it's bc his daughter is a teenager now. Wouldn't be cool for her if his dad mentions her on his song. Just imagine that situation in a high school.
About Kim, who knows what kind of deal he has with her. Maybe he even can't talk about her much.

I think that can be said in interviews bigray i think with this new album he gonna get personal but this time not do it over the commercial style production on Recovery. This time he gonna balance out an album i think going back to his past like his father leaving him how he hated it but it influenced him to be a better father and be there for Hailey type songs. Basically rappin about things he may have before but a diffrent process, diffrent perspective type of thing is what we will get on the album. He gonna bring his best hooks too once again.

well, nobody cares about his mom, daughter or ex-wife anymore, now the whole "oh-my-gawd-reality-rap-star" fame belongs to Kanye an' his perfect bitch. Em's love life is so '02

so there are only two things he can do with his next album:
- came up with another concept thing. maybe not great as SSLP, but as good as Relapse

- make an album where he speaks about all the recent fails, delievered by shady records - yelawolf, slaughterhouse - and start a massive discussion about the major labels and the shit they do nowadays. he made somethin like that in The Way I Am, you know :whistle:

and he can get a lof of controversy around these subjects. he's like fuckin Madonna, you know, he can make everybody talk about the way that bad labels treat good arists, only if he starts to.

or maybe he'll just ask kanye for a feat and nicki minaj for a hook and everything will be ok

He shouldn't need things to 'talk about', he's an artist; create art. Art doesn't have to just be a literal interpretation of your life, or even about YOUR life at all, there's so many ways to create, and he could use his talents as a tool, much like with "Love the Way You Lie" where he used his talents to write on the theme of domestic violence. Many critics speculated it was about Kim because they're so used to him simply writing literal interpretations of real events, they forget that he can be creative; and simply writing exactly what you've been through, isn't. The way you do it can be, but it takes more creative nous to simply apply your talents TO a theme.

Imagine if filmmakers only made films about things that happened to them specifically. Look at Pulp Fiction, do you think QT was ever actually a hitman? lmao. There's so many thrilling possibilities that he hasn't even begun to tap in to yet, fuck his life or his current situation, that doesn't have to have anything to do with it. And I think he's beginning to realize that more.

But it doesn't matter what you i think or want or what i do if he wants to rap about his life then he should as long that's what he wants to do. If he gets satisafaction from people relating and if he himself feels after he recorded that him rapping about his life is what i good music to him then that's all that matters. See it's a 2 way thing homie as much as you twist it around it works both ways

But it doesn't matter what you i think or want or what i do if he wants to rap about his life then he should as long that's what he wants to do. When did I say anything about what Em wants? he can do what he wants, I'm simply opening the discussion up on creativity, and fans always seeming to think he just has to do that just because a lot get most common ground from those kinds of songs.

I'm just saying, that's not the only option, and he's much more creative than just that.
