Lost Eminem Freestyles?

Postby yung rom » Sep 20th, '12, 02:35

Alright, so i was searching around the internet for old eminem songs/freestyles/whatevers and I finally found something interesting. There used to be an eminem fansite 'eminem2000(dot)com' which - I don't know why - is now disabled. However, if you go on the waybackmachine and go to this site like it was in 2000, there's something very interesting. If you go to the audio section under M-media and then click freestyles, a couple songs will pop up (depending on what date you're visiting the site at). Here are the freestyles listed (In order from top) New Freestyle, Marshall Mathers LP Freestyle 1, Marshall Mathers LP Freestyle 2, Eminem Planet Asia Akinyele - Freestyle, MTV Online Session, Eminem & Proof, Freestyle at 97' Rap Olympics, Eminem and Royce the 5 9 Freestyle, Hot 97 Freestyle, and Eminem Rhyming Words Freestyle. Most of these are easily accessible to the public but the Marshall Mathers LP Freestyles caught my eye. If you try to download the file, it downloads as a .ram and won't play on RealPlayer. So, does anyone know what these are, or am I missing something obvious? My account apparently doesn't have permission to post links yet, so to find this page, go to the waybackmachine, search eminem2000(dot)com, click the 2000 section, and click the date May 11, click Audio (under the M-media section) and click freestyles.

Well, I know of a freestyle where it says "may 23rd" at the end, which is the date MMLP was released on in 2000, and it's Em from that period, so maybe that's it.

This is the one I'm talking about... (fucking awesome btw)...
