too bad aftermath cant respect rakims wishes wen it comes to making albums, they could have had "ohh my god" as clasic, yet they kept pushing it back and complaining bout how he cant make hooks. (Ra doesnt make hooks usually)
i lost some respect for aftermath solely from this, as i am a huge rakim fan.-

Rakim mightn`t make hooks, but, fuck all can write verses like his. Aftermath suck for dichin him over that, I`m with Aspirine on that!
I had Rakims words from this interview, in my sig for a while!!
P.s I like Rakim`s hooks on a lot of songs. Theyre simplified, but, in a lot of cases Kick-ass! In R.A.K.I.M (8 Mile Soundtrack) & "It`s The R" (The Master), great hooks. No singin or melodies, but, hard shit!!
This is why i`m always putting Eminem among the best. He can do the genius lyrics, amazing hooks, Produce, Funny shit, Battle/Diss shit, Personal stuff, conceptual stuff. It`s like Tr said, he needs one final top notch album, to put him amoong the greatest!
