Bobby Creekwater, Cashis, and Stat Quo were all accidents. TBH, I'd take Lil Wayne over these clowns every day. One was a T.I. clone, one was a 50 Cent clone w/ Southern Influence, and the last one was a wack bitch trying to imitate 2Pac's flow and delivery and 50 Cent/Eminem's content. And guess what, they were bad clones with no personality. Lil Wayne, and I don't lie him bar a few songs and would admit he can be wack at most times, is more original and has a better discography than these three combined. Then you have Obie who was just boring with his voice and had almost no personality either. He seemed like he was rapping because he can rap.

This is the problem I feel that's in Hip Hop, and until we can get over this perception of 'Real Hip Hop' and 'Fake Hip Hop', we're not gonna go anywhere. Rappers are rappers. Yes, they have different styles, but it depends on what you're interested in. Saying that this is "Real Hip Hop" and shit like that implies you know everything and anything about the game, and you most likely don't. You know, despite what Wayne raps about, he's not lying when he says he has tons of women, has a lot of money, and whatever. I don't like his music either. What even classifies as fake hip hop? In fact, what IS Hip Hop? What do you believe that it is?

Because the radio has a wider audience and don't care much for lyrics and rhymes. It's not fair to label one thing as real rap and one thing as fake rap though. I don't like Lil Wayne's music for example but he IS a real rapper.

I really don't like Immortal Technique. I think he's full of shit and he doesn't even know what he's talking about as well. He's a prime example of who people like just because he's underground and refuses to "go mainstream".

Haha that's a good point. A lot of what he says just seems to be too pretentious and annoying. There's some truth to what he says about the government, but it's obviously exaggerated just for entertainment purposes. So because I have a different taste than someone else, I don't KNOW a music genre? 99% of the people who say this are either Illuminati believers, Hip Hop heads that listen to nothing but Immortal Technique and Jedi Mind Tricks, or young kids that think they know everything.

And yet... how ironic is it that the rappers that have been in the game for so long and are revered like Dre, Ice Cube, Tech N9ne, Nas, Eminem, Jay-Z and others never say shit like that. I mean for fuck's sake, Eminem listens to so much Hip Hop, AND a fan of Lil Wayne. The entire premise of Hip Hop being "Dead" is due to the fact that many Hip Hop fans can't accept the fact that we're in 2012 and Synthesizers are used more frequently, and the general public want the different things.
