Maybe im coming off as devil's advocate virtue of the fact I'm upset at Slim for making 4 successive trash records. I lied to myself when I said Shady is here again. He delivered some impressive tracks, but he can't make a good album as a whole anymore. He is no longer the competent and unprecedented MC that he once was, particularly with flowing. Exuberance, a successful past in mainstream, and technical skills are not enough. People pretend like Eminem is gonna make a classic when in the heart of hearts they even know that it's not probable anymore. I venture to say it's not really Eminem's fault in a sense. Money can get to your head like it does with baseball stars. But he must know that his classic days are behind him, you can hear him always trying different styles and that is the only way he can keep us interested. It would be a disservice for Eminem to make a sequel for Till I Collapse because it would only expose the fact that he isn't the magic that he once was. Furthermore it would prove that the fire did die at 30. He wants the fire, but it's just not there.
