Better of the two sci-fi shooters

I've fought with a lot of people on this.. Halo.. Or Metroid.

About 4 months ago I would have totally said Halo, but Hunters blew my mind.

Pro's and Con's

Halo
--Pros
●Great Multiplayer as well as single player
● Over rated as hell, so you know theres SOMEONE to play with.
● A great arsenal of weapons to play with.
--Cons
○ Shits to big, and too slow, pretty damn annoying. >_>
○ Not much better than any other shooter, just way fuckign over-rated.
○ Only 2 of them..


Metroid
-- Pros
● Best graphics for the system.. On the gamecube version, and the DS counterpart.
● Nice and fast.
● More creative, with the alt forms and affinity weapons; They add a lot more to think about.
● More levels than halo
● 7 diffrent hunters to choose from.
--Cons
○ Only Hunters was any good. I must admit, Prime 2 was pretty gay.
○ A limited arsenal... A total of 13 difrent weapons, iirc.
○ Unless you have WiFi, you ain't actually playing no one.


I think it's obvious where my vote lays, though I love them both. Before you just go lolz halo ftw! just b/c it's halo.. Check out just what the DS can actually do

Ive played halo one on pc and it sucked.

F.E.A.R, Half Life, Area 51, Far Cry... etc all easily pwn halo.

dont know bout metroid though.

Quake 4 is the best fps I've played in a long, long time. I don't doubt, in fact I agree htat most of these games are better. I'm just comparing the styles of these two sci-fi shooters.

but halo is a much better game than metroid i think, i dont know much about metriod but its halo. i agree with teh over ratted thing and i think halo 2 ruined ttha halo series cuz i like halo ce better but just tha fact that halo is xbox live abnd everone plays it its got the eedge over pretty much every game

actualyl it is it takes much more skill, sniper you can get headshot, pistol-TSK battlerifle-FBK and just all the stuff you can do in halo one like blwoing weopoons to yourself and 'nade bouncing yourself all over tha maps

I just mean like, I don't know everything on the map has such a bulky feeling to it. Like it's just huge and right in your face. And it's slow. I like the fast intense feeling better. I know halo can get very intense as well, I'm just saying.

Both Halo and Metroid are awesome... but im getting Metroid DS next week... wi-fi is gonna be awesome... so metroid gets my vote.

yeah i think tha unreal series fun too but only to play for fun, if im playing a game and im serouse about it tha unreal type isnt really my type
