Who should provide vocals for Em`s next album?

Postby NeonGameWave » Oct 15th, '12, 03:02

Do you want to see Amy Lee, and Sly ( Fast Lane) do the hooks for Eminem`s next album instead of Skylar Grey or unknown female singers all the time? I think Amy Lee could work really well on a dark song while Sly would work really well for a pump up song. Although this is unlikely it would be cool to see Chester from Linkin Park provide his vocals for one of Eminem`s songs that alone could be considered to be a Linkin Park and Eminem collaboration but in another form. I think Chester would work really well for a inspirational and emotional track. I like Skylar Grey don`t get me wrong but I think Amy Lee would be a better choice and I don`t want to hear the same songs all over again. Another individual I can think of is probably also Gary Jules who did his cover for the popular as well as one of my favourite songs, Mad World and I think he has a great voice, he would work maybe on a deep and complex love song or something more personal while providing the hook or vocals. Do you guys agree? Do you want to see Amy Lee, Gary Jules, Chester Bennington and Sly appear on Eminem`s next album providing vocals or hooks instead of Skylar Grey, Rihanna, Pink, and Kobe (Talkin 2 Myself)? Do you want change? Do you want to see any rappers also provide their vocals for hooks? Who else would qualify and be a good match for Em in terms of providing vocals or hooks for his songs?

Otherwise I don't mind people like Skylar Grey and Liz Rodriguez for female hooks like Echo and Almost Famous.

Your idea is awesome! :y:

I want Liz Rodriguez and Sly. If Interscope wants Em to do a single with a popular pop artist, I'd be interested in hearing an Adele song.

That's it. Have Kobe in there too.

Basically nobody please. He makes better hooks himself, and his songs lose some of his identity, and are not always as lasting when he has other people do the hooks.

I think he did enough of that on Recovery.

I don't mind one or two, or even three or four but I want Em to do the majority of his own hooks this time, with a unified production approach.

And, I think that whore on "Almost Famous", and the slut on "Take from Me" (are they the same cunt?) sound really good next to Em's style, and have a eiry quality to their / her singing. I think Em is often so angry that a female counters it nicely but has to be the right female for it to sound right, I don't want anybody I know of mainstream, I think it'll be too bland. I want "Almost Famous" ho.

I think Marilyn Manson would be great, just to directly clash with "Not Afraid", "Beautiful", and "Lighters". Ruffle up Marshall's squeaky clean image as of late :) Even now, Manson would fill this role perfectly.

Other than that... I just want him to do his own shit.

Hooks are best when they are from the artists, even if the artist isn't a brilliant singer. They are more emotional. Plus, Em does great hooks.

I'd be interested in a Frank Ocean collab. Not completely convinced they'd mix.

He made No Church In The Wild and had the album of the year, imo.
