I remember hearing a while back that he donated something like one million dollars to a September 11th relief fund.

He founded the Marshall Mathers Foundation for disadvantaged kids in the Detroit area and makes regular financial contributions to it. In 2007, he donated an undisclosed amount of money to Hip-Hop 4 Habitat on behalf of the Marshall Mathers Foundation, and the money went toward building a home in Detroit. In 2011, he donated a signed DJ turntable to be auctioned off during a charity auction for the Joplin tornado victims. In 2012, he donated a personalized video to a Detroit auction that landed Detroit charities for children's education $55,000 and was the highest grossing item at the auction by far. Also in 2012 he made a video message raising awareness for AIDS as a favor to Elton John. He donated $200,000 to Hurricane Katrina victims in 2005. You probably already know the story about the Irish kid with cystic fibrosis, but that counts, too.
