Ok, so I'm sure everyone kind of assumed this, but someone asked Nate about this and he said "Paul did that himself."

Which makes sense, but does anyone else think it's weird how incapable Nate is of helping maintain any shred of "illusion" to Em's career? Lol, he'll tweet "It's really me" and Nate's like, "no, that was Paul." I mean, I don't know if anyone cares, but I think the point of Paul tweeting/doing social media stuff "for" him, is that people think it's him. Otherwise, he may as well not HAVE paul sign his name for him, he might as well just say, "this is Paul, and Em says hi." Idk, it's just weird and sort of comical.

I would think it strange for Paul to "put words in Em's mouth" too, but that's always how Nate seems to frame it. I don't think he MEANS it that way, I think he's just the opposite of eloquent, so things don't quite come through. But I agree, I would imagine Em knew the post was being made, and was there. Paul was probably like, "hey Em, I'm on your facebook, what do you want to say." or whatever. At least that seems like the only non-retarded way it could have gone down...

The point of having the 'Em' signature at the end is notifying the fans that Em said/meant those words, he doesn't necessarily have to type them down himself, just like a rep reading out his client's statement. It's funny how everybody is making a big deal out of whether it was Em himself who typed it or not lol for all we know it could be Hailie who typed it for her dad.

Based on what the guy asked it sound like Em had no part of it. Paul just went ahead and did it since he probably saw all the BDay messages coming in. For Em, social media is probably just another necessary promotional tool that he'd rather not deal with. I've seen a few celebrity twitters that looks like it run by a publicist or something.
