I think it was under-shipped coz interscope didn't plan to see kendrick selling that much... a lot of ppl have to wait 1 week if they want to buy the album :X

HitsDailyDouble :

b]Eyes are also on Aftermath/Interscope’s hip-hop breakout Kendrick Lamar, meanwhile, who will move an impressive 225-240k. In a Taylor-free debut week, he'd likely be stomping the chart like Godzilla, so much respect is due.[/b]

I predict 280 k :)

I've been listening to this album today, and I think I might finally get Kendrick. While I don't like Section.80 that much, this one sticks with me as a great album. I'm glad it's receiving so much praise.

Also, I have a lot of respect for the fact that they didn't compromise the album for singles. The fact that "The Recipe" is a bonus and the Lady Gaga collab was left off of the album supports that.

Or just when he shouts " Just blazeeeee" then the beat goes crazy :smoking:

"XXL rates albums from "S" (poor) to "XXL" (classic). Editors have initially awarded XXL status to only nine albums:

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill by Lauryn Hill
The Blueprint by Jay-Z
Get Rich or Die Tryin' by 50 Cent
Be by Common
Late Registration by Kanye West
Hell Hath No Fury by Clipse
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy by Kanye West
Life Is Good by Nas
good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar

:flutter:

A later issue in December 2007 re-rated and retroactively rated some albums and gave XXLs to:[9]

The Chronic by Dr. Dre *
Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) by Wu-Tang Clan *
Illmatic by Nas *
The Diary by Scarface *
The Infamous by Mobb Deep *
All Eyez on Me by 2Pac *
Reasonable Doubt by Jay-Z *
The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory by 2Pac *
Life After Death by The Notorious B.I.G. *
2001 by Dr. Dre
The Marshall Mathers LP by Eminem
The Lost Tapes by Nas
The College Dropout by Kanye West"

good to see gkmc with these albums :flutter:
