Jay-Z's verses were perfect. Eminem's verses were perfect. The hook was perfect.

ems flow on that song was better than jays. his annunciation was great, and his verses had impressive cadence/rhyming. Jay took it lyrically though and I think his second verse is the best on the song. They were tied imo

Two people (you and Rev) said that Em outshined Jay...whereas Menzo and Accor said they were both tied. Those two were the only ones really saying anything. I'll throw in my vote too and say they were tied as well; therefore, Eminem did not renegade Jay.

Surprisingly, though, the best production comes from the only guest on the album, Eminem, on one of the best tracks ever...yes...ever, Renegade. I’m not normally a big Eminem fan, but this song changed my mind. The haunting production and Eminem’s flow make this track amazing. The only problem with this song is that Eminem murdered Jay-Z, for lack of a better term

Jay-Z admitting he got murdered, Nas said it too, Snoop Dogg. The term renegaded which means killing someone on its own track.. It's just like that. It's a fact. People think Eminem did better, and that's it.

yeah that would make sense if his verses were bad but they're virtually perfect so..

I think Eminem's and Jay's verse would be equally good if Eminem's flow wasn't that great. But he has the edge because of that. Jay-Z's verses are fucking amazing though.

I think it all equals out.. Eminem's flow was better and Jay has the best verse on the song.

It's fine to think Eminem was better on the track, but I find it ridiculous when people say that he 'murdered' Jay. They were both very, very good.

Not really, he's just jumping on the bandwagon. He won't say "Nahh man I did better than him."

Em's flow is a lot better than Jay-Z, it's ultra smooth while going to his point without sacrifying anything whereas it sounds a little choppy in Jay's second verse.
