No one will ever do 1.7 million in the first week ever again that's for sure. Not only is that damn near impossible no matter what year you're in, but now with fucking illegal downloading and all that shit, it really is impossible.

Regardless of whether he sells a million in the first week or not, he's still gonna dominate the year on the charts overall.

You have to remember, Recovery's first week sales weren't really based on LTWYL. I know the album leaked a bit early, but the song was largely unknown by the public before the album was released, so the first-week sales were mainly based on Not Afraid + Relapse I think.

I'm not sure if Eminem is going to dominate the charts either. Not the singles charts, because hip hop in general is doing terribly there. Even Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Drake can't get top 10 hits with anything they release anymore.

its completely possible for him to sell a mill the first week. just needs to be promoted right and have some crazy catchy first singles with tons of radio play. he just needs to make this album BIGGER then all the rest, make it stand out.
