I know... from Royce's tweets and the silence on the Em front, I was really hoping Em was intensely locked in to his shit. How focused or impassioned can he really be if he's taking time out to exec produce Skylar Grey's album ffs. In for quite a wait yet.

Well, the longer it takes, the longer he has to think about a solid album concept and maybe even produce it.

I'd love that. I'd happily wait an extra 3-4 months if he's gonna produce it.

Yeah definitely, except he doesn't appear to be using his time to think on his album, he's using it to add piano intros to sub-par tracks here and there. Hopefully he's really trying to observe and crunch down on his production skills for his own album... but, it sounds like distraction.

Back in August he said he hadn't properly focused on his album yet, despite saying back in May!! that he had started it now. Three months? the Slaughterhouse project consumed him, and maybe now Skylar's will too, and we're already in October.

I would much rather wait longer if it means he's taking time to perfect what he's doing and come up with something amazing, but he's committed to 2013 now and as far as we know, still hasn't even properly begun focusing on his own shit. UNLESS, he's doing this intentionally to defer frantic speculation and make people think he hasn't started properly when he's already quite a way in to it, to just surprise people out of nowhere. He pretty much loves doing that so, you never know.

Why everyone talking like it's cool if Em takes his time to perfect the album, he's had enough time already! By the time it drops it will 3 yrs since his previous album...The man is a studio rat with no life besides Hailie & music, not to mention when he takes too long between records they typically disappoint the media, not me though.Encore came 2 & a half yrs after The Eminem Show & Relapse came 4 & a half yrs after Encore, although I fuck with Relapse hard, except for CAB & WMY verses but I digress

Nah really. They wouldn't use Bizzy's social media to find beats for Em / the label lol. Shady Records / Eminem / Paul would make a post saying send your beats and you might win a contest blah blah blah.. but they wouldn't even do that. The label occasionally gives Em beat tapes from other producers.

Bizzy probably meant "Looking for beats for (my) shady (sounding album)" or something like that. Have you seen him post things before? Half of them make little sense.
