im glad to hear him with that attitude. hopefully slaughterhouse and eminem himself follow him and says 'fuck the label, lets do it our way' because lets face it, WTOH, Recovery and Radioactive were watered down A LOT

This tbh.
Having said that, though, you have to look at it from a business point of view. You have to sell a lot of records to make a lot of money. Pop sells. Hardcore hip-hop...not so much. Look at what Ludacris did recently teaming up with Usher and David Guetta. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fD1tSUgdMA0
"So one last time, I'm back, 'fore it fades into black and it's all over, behold the final chapter in the saga, trying to recapture that lightning trapped in a bottle twice, the magic that started it all...tragic portrait of an artist tortured....trapped in his own drawings..." - Bruce.

And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin

He is doing to much side project. Need to only focus on Love Story!
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

I like Yela. I know it's a business but I don't agree with the having to sell right out the gate. I lot of legendary artists didn't sell well their first couple of albums. Sometimes you have to build up to success but you do it by staying true to yourself and your work. That's the most important thing. Otherwise it doesn't seem worth it to me. Selling your soul doesn't get you anywhere in the end.

I don't give a sh-t about the "business point of view."

All I want is GOOD MUSIC.

"Oh, but you see, they had to do that crappy song to appeal to 14-year-old girls in North Dakota, so it's actually okay." - Get the F-CK out of here.

Where was the watered down music on Good Kid Mad City? Nowhere. And that was released by THE SAME LABEL...THIS YEAR.

I'm glad I never purchased any of these middling Shady Records albums. Whoever's actually in charge of those releases did a terrible job.
