New Day did really good for a single with little promo from the label.
50 had to do the promo on his own

New Day was getting airplay on rhythmic and urban radio (and was climbing the airplay charts), and then rather suddently it stopped and started dropping fast. Which makes me think the label pulled it from radio, since its radio performance was quite unnatural.

I kind of think it was a good idea. If he's looking for a mainstream hit, he shouldn't use something like New Day, it's a bit out of date now. It would've been a big hit in 2009 or 2010 imo.

Just noticed he's not wearing his necklace in that pic. I don't think it's from the Bicycle video. From what I understand that was filmed over two days in a trailer park and Em was only there for one day. But I'll guess we'll see when the videos come out.
