That's really sweet of him - it just shows what a great guy he must be. As hard as it must be for him right now dealing with his own problems he's not just preoccupied with himself but still has the heart and strength to support other people in urgent need. It's always a great thing when celebrities donate money, not just because of their own philantropy but also because they help raise awareness about the disasters around the world so that other people donate as well, and that's desperately needed after Hurricane Katrina.
I feel so sorry for all the people who lost their homes, possessions or a loved one - it's devastating to watch the news and see the destruction the power of nature has caused and I hope that Bush will step up to his responsibility and start focusing on helping his own people instead of concentrating on waging war.
