He was basically rhyming one syllable back in the encore days. I won't argue that he is exactly where he was after TES right now. Unless he starts exploring concepts, story telling, with a consistent sound and maybe have a political undertone on his next album I can see it flopping. I won't judge off this verse though, it was always going to be half arsed/experimental.

Nah, last 2 songs with Rihanna had some meaning, some thought, some passion and some execution.

This was lazy, crap and boring. And showed nothing.

The verse isn't "bad" but it's not good either. His experimentation makes up for it a lot. Clearly this was a song Em didn't care much for.

I am stating right now not 2 years ago lol. His LTWYL verse was actually one of his best written verses since coming back. Too bad Rihanna was on it.

It's not a brilliant verse, but it's interesting... yeah there's some stupid bits in it, so lets hope he doesn't get overly silly again, but I think there's some nice / weird delivery and flow in there.

It's alright, just a throwaway appearance, what I was expecting.

After he does the "rear / rear / rear" thing, I actually love his flow/delivery from there, listening to it again... reminds me of "Here Comes the Weekend" where like every line is rhyming with the next, it's very tight and compact. I like that shit quite a lot.

I swear to God I enjoyed this I imagined how they laughed about it too. I didn't really expect that kinda verse but it's not bad really, it's just different. Flow & delivery are on point... plus it's goofy & funny so lyrics fit too ya know.
I think if he kept the echoed, back vocal rhyming all the way to line 4 it'd be a good opening too but first he changed the voice on line 3 & then broke the rhyme on the 4th one which kinda fucked it up right there rhyme wise. It'd way better if it was...
