"Picasso with a pick axe, a sick asshole
Tic-tac-toe comes with 6-pack, with Exacto
Knives, strangling wives with thick lasso
3 bags of the grass, Zig Zags. I'm with the Doc, so"

Definition of "rhyming for the hell of it".

Relapse is probably quite underrated among Em's casual/general fanbase, and it didn't deserve all the trash it got. That said, it is nowhere nere SSLP in my mind. Then again, I rank SSLP quite high in general.

StayWideAwake wrote:No one likes to admit it (dont get me wrong, im a HUGE mmlp and sslp fan) but a lot of his early shit was random as hell. Kill you is a sick song but there are a decent amount of rhymes that are there for the sake of rhyming. But no one gets pissed. "Serial killer hiding murder material in a cereal box on top of your stereo". Absolutely love that line haha but i doubt there as a deeper meaning behind that. All i'm saying is that random rhymes just to be rhymes shouldn't be shunned or whatever. Menzo I am aware that you do like relapse so this isn't necessarily for you I'm just building off of your comment.

I've always loved he visual imagery of this line but it's such a brilliant way of mocking people who take his lyrics too seriously. Using an actual stereo just makes the link to violence (or murder material, in this case) so hilariously ridiculous.

Oh, and on topic. As much as I love Relapse, it's not even on the same level of SSLP. Even the rhyming, I find it better on SSLP even though he rhymed more on Relapse. If Stay Wide Awake verses were Eminem albums, first verse would be SSLP and second would be Relapse (not because of the order but how coherent the rhymes were).

Recovery was shit because there were no eminem and dre beats(Except so bad and ridaz as bonus) thats the only reason the album was nothin in my eyes to many no name producers mess albums up.

Both impeccably crafted albums, that's a given.

SSLP has more wit, but Relapse is so godamn precise and focused it's incredible.

I prefer Relapse personally as an album but the SSLP will always seem more special.

I think SSLP is WAAAAY better than Relapse. The flows/delivery, rhyming, wit, all of that is better. I even prefer the beats though Relapse does have great ones.

Two things in society that should be banned:

1. The word, "amazing."
2. People like the OP.
Canning: What will it say on your tombstone?
Charlie Sheen: Something dot com.

The time has come to tie her up, gotta roll me the ladder
I'd had enough of the chatter, climb up to the window, look at her
And climb in and slowly shatter her brain matter and batter her
with the bat, a matter of fact that will splatter her
But before I do that, I'll have a chat to flatter her
Give her two compliments, back-to-back, like Tabatha!
I'm your secret admirer, I'm back to ravish ya
So strong is your fight, but you're no match for Dracula
Prolonging her plight, as I go back to stabbin' her
Dismember her limbs, simple as that, cadaver her
Zoom in with the lens, then pan back, the camera
Stand back, cuz here comes your man Jack, so Pamela

Sucks you can't hear it.
It's the body bag game bitch I'm supplying coffins
