When Numb first dropped I had no fucking idea what he was saying. I understood the part where he bullshits at the beginning, but once he actually started rapping I couldn't understand.

That's exactly at. He tries to switch his flow around to sound new and exciting but it just falls short. His delivery also suffers at times because lately he's been pulling out the Nicki Minaj delivery; shouting at random times or deepening his voice, it sounds pretty awkward.

I kind of wonder where Em's confidence is at right now. He's had a lot happen in the past eight years or so. Mostly negative. He thought encore sucked, he talked shit about relapse(even though it was awesome and I think he truly likes it) and he should be feeling bad about recovery.

But I've thought his forced punchline shit sounds like a lot of artists these days, just all punch lines. Like lil wayne. And yeah, that high/ low style does remind me of Nicki. I think he is trying so hard to stay relevant that it is doing the opposite.

He's always been good at telling a story. With a good flow and subtle punch lines to compliment the story. And when there wasn't an exact story, he had an amazing way of rhyming and making the songs sound good.

Here lately he just seems awkward , uncomfortable and forced. Songs and interviews. Which is weird, cause relapse was awesome. You'd think problems like this would have started off the bat. Not after his comeback album.

^ He shouldn't feel bad about Recovery you dipshit, go eat a dick and kill yourself. Recovery is a good album, and it's as good as Relapse.

Whenever I come to the forum and see that Slim Cary was the last to post in a particular thread, I prepare to see the same faggot posts that are always synonymous with the name.

I say good things about Em sometimes.

When he does something good.

You lose here either way. You praise him, you're a stan that needs to get off his nuts. You say anything bad and people get upset at that. But oh well. I'll ramble on about whatever I please. This place is basically dead unless a song or album is around the corner, except the few 100,000 post guys that refresh the page here every 4 seconds.

Yeah I've noticed that lately with his recent material. His enunciation isn't as crisp as it once was
"So one last time, I'm back, 'fore it fades into black and it's all over, behold the final chapter in the saga, trying to recapture that lightning trapped in a bottle twice, the magic that started it all...tragic portrait of an artist tortured....trapped in his own drawings..." - Bruce.

The way his vocals are mixed may have an influence too. Like 99% of his songs from the last three years have been layered the fuck out of. And the thing about layering is if its not done almost perfectly it messes up that crispness, that clearness for the listeners to understand. But when it's done perfectly we get awesome shit like Despicable and Almost Famous.

And to all the people that say they understand every single word that he says fuck you, you lying bastards.

I remember when Krizz Kaliko put out "Kill Shit" and people were trying to figure out some of the lyrics a couple of you guys started posting that you could indeed hear every word they were saying clearly. When I told them to write the lyrics out they all shut up. :tounge2:
