It was #11 yesterday, now it's at #30
Unless this song takes off in the coming 2 weeks, it will be hard for it to reach platinum.
Eminem & 50 will perform the song soon if I remember correctly, if it bounces back after the performance then yeah cool. If it doesn't...it will struggle to reach platinum.
Well yeah we saw it falling in ranks but there's no promotion at all after the initial push so it's normal, it slowly builds up on the radio though so we'll actually see how big that record would be in a few weeks time.
It will surely be at least platinum IMO, it is not a fact yet but I think it's going there... but like I said it'll need more time so we'll actually know if it goes way further than that.
Overall solid first week.
I don't expect it to struggle for a plat plaque, it just needs time.

I don't think this song will be anywhere near as big as Down On Me unfortunately.
If the will.i.am/Britney song only got #12, 50 Cent could miss the top 20. Apparently his streaming (Spotify, etc.) is great though, so fingers crossed that will help a bit.
Well you might be right, you never know but don't bet on it. ''Down on me'' was never as big a record in the beginning & I could say it even started slower than that one but it went crazy with the time passing. I see ''My life'' as a way bigger record overall & expect it to last even longer 'cuz once it catches on the radio it'll keep a good pace & sales will keep piling.
Let's see what happens.
