Last album you listened to

Yeah I've checked up the lyrics quite a bit and a lot of them seem too metaphorical and blatantly random at times, and I'm not sure whether to think they have actual meaning or he's just throwing it at listeners to interpret it in several ways. But the songs themselves sound amazing and they're the perfect kind of music for the weather Toronto's been getting.

Yeah I know what you mean. One of my friends though is a really big Bon Iver fan and he told me that all his songs are about personal experiences with references that only he would get. Don't know how he knows that though

That would make sense I guess, but if so then we're not really supposed to understand any of the songs which would be dumb as fuck and disappointing.

I don't think it takes anything away from the music, it just allows the listener to interpret the lyrics in his/her own way.

It does but I hate that I don't know the absolute meaning to the lyrics. Usually I'm okay with personal interpretation but this album is so vague that I feel my interpretations and fans' interpretations could be way off and I don't like that lmao.
