Today my girlfriend of 6 months broke up with me. It sucks. (inb4 almostlity "no1curr") She said I get mad too easily, (which is kind of true). I didn't even really see it coming when she broke up with me. She just messaged me over Facebook (which makes it even worse) and said she doesn't wanna date anymore, but wants to be friends. Since then I've been listening to 808s & Heartbreaks (awesome breakup album btw) and trying to get over her. Any advice on how to get over a girl? Cause this fucking sucks

put yourself in a state of mind like "Ihateyouall" including yourself, then when something cool or good happens, shell be long forgotten and youre on a new page idk!

I got a break up text from a girl the night before my birthday In 2011. We weren't that serious but she did it that way to try and hurt me. You have to realise that if you aren't worth their concern, they aren't worth yours.

When it comes to these things there are logic and emotions. Getting back together is obviously a bad idea, given that what's been broken is not to be fixed (Aragorn says hi though). See what have you done for this girl, what she has done for you, and do the math. If you've done more make sure to dismiss the emotional side and stick to the logic, which I assume is telling you "fuck this girl, forget about her asap".

From what I'm getting here, she's definitely not worth your time; and if you let emotions mess with you (like remembering the happy times or some shit like that, and basically finding excuses to not be mad at her) then you aren't doing any favors to yourself, and I assure you that you'll be pissed for feeling like that in the future, and you'll think "damn, I should've let that go the same minute".

Everybody goes through this, no matter what we say you are going to feel bad, and you will get better. 6 months is not that much. Now you are free so there are new oportunities for you.

I find funny all that facebook stories when people break....maybe you can make it to be just friends, but it won't be easy in the beginning.
