Next album should be shorter

I think his albums are a little too long. Except SSLP, they're all 75+ minutes long. They could be shorter, maybe 60-65 minutes, Recovery would've been better and shorter if it didn't have Cold Wind Blows, Talking 2 Myself and You're Never Over, for example. IN MY OPINION.

I'd prefer a shorter album. Longer albums tend to have tons of filler and I don't really like the tracks where he rhymes for the hell of it.

everyone's opinion is different so the tracks one person may want him to cut to make it shorter may be different from the tracks another person wants to cut to make it shorter.

if he does cut material from his next album, he should put it in an ep or mixtape.

That doesn't matter. People don't only review certain songs, they review the entire album. The general opinion of his album could be dragged down if there were weak, throwaway songs that don't add to the album.

But yeah, I guess a person could delete a song they didn't like.

Em never puts out mixtapes, we hear just a few verses and maybe a entire solo song per year when he doesn't have LP coming out and you want a shorter album? You're crazy.
And I want the skits back too, they were so damn funny.

I want songs where Eminem rhymes for the fuck of it. I love them, because that's the environment Eminem grew up in. He was a battle rapper and it's honestly refreshing and good to hear songs like "On Fire" or his Westwood freestyles.

I think 10 tracks with say 2 bonus tracks and a few skits is enough. I would like to think that Em would get it down to around that amount and use the best material, less songs = more quality album IMO

I'm pretty sure it will be near enough the same length as Recovery but maybe one or two more bonus songs. I'm pretty sure Em wouldn't starve us of solo material for 3 years and then bring out less songs

I find the chorus of Cold Wind Blows bad, You're Never Over boring (great topic, poor execution) and Talking 2 Myself is just... well... ugh.

He could still make an album of 14 songs, 3-4 skits and have a great album, and put out albums faster. Ever heard of The Marshall Mathers LP?

If I'm listening to an album, I'm listening to it as a whole, not excluding some songs. That's why I think that a shorter album, without fillers is better than a longer album with a bunch of fillers. (Skits aren't fillers)

It's not that I want less Eminem material, it's the opposite, but I just want it to be top quality. Take Recovery for an example, it's a great album (to me), but I could live without those couple of songs.
