Thanks man. I kinda had the idea about some wise old man that gives advice, and how I could spin it into a story. So I gave the typical "wise old man" a back story and had the advice he gives be reflective on his life, which is why he's passing it on to the future generation so they don't make the same mistakes he did. I thought it'd be fitting to put it in a campfire / fireplace-like setting to complete the concept.
