Why Em's Recent Verses And Collabs Have Been Disappointing

This isn't rocket science people. Everyone is wondering why some recent Em collabs have been disappointing. There are reasons why.

1. Em Did 3 Tracks With Pop Stars

Em never did this. We have had 3 Em verses with pop stars. The pink one was really disappointing for me because I think the 2 of them could do better. Numb sucked dick. And while Let Me Ride was good, it was nothing special.

2. Em's Collabs Have Been Within The Shady Fam

Em's recent collabs with MCs have been within the Shady fam and while this is good, it's also bad. We know Em can destroy anyone in the Shady fam so why hear it again? Richard was already but nothing great. Our House is good. Throw That and Asylum don't count because Em didn't have a verse. 50's My Life was the best recent collab.

When Em was promoting Recovery he got on tracks all types of rappers. He got on the Forever collab with Drake. Em did the Drop The World track with Wayne. Em destroyed Airplanes Part 2 with B.o.B. Then after Recovery Em did that track with Nicki which was alright. Lastly Em did the TI All She Wrote track which was awesome.

We want Em to collab with other rappers outside the Shady fam. Its possible he will be on Joe Budden's album. Em will likely be on Big Sean's album. Em is going to be on Trick Trick's album. Em will appear on Tech's album. Em will also be in the Shady Fam's work; gonna be on Obie's album, Skylar's, and possibly Yela's mixtape. Better Em collabs are coming.

You think so? I think his flows, voice and delivery have been the best part of all the recent collaborations. His list of verses in 2012 are all different, sonically, and I love that he's being diverse again.

ya his flow is good on that song and is one of the only times his fast flow doesn't sound awkward and forced to me, but like 70% of the lyrics are facepalm worthy and i don't think his flow is enough to make the song "awesome".
