this list is right. he tried to overwhelm the listener with multi's to stand apart from the crowed, but quality is more important than quantity
"I take yall diss as endearment - I love it when I hear it
Maybe words offensive - free speech I don't fear it
Maybe music can take us to a place so atmospheric
Beyond our greatest imagination, illuminatin' experience
If we open our ears and close our inhibitions, it's clear"

Relapse had bad sales wtf?

Yes especially outside the US.

Something like 4.5 mil worldwide, thanks to te refill.

It's not that bad but i guess Interscope expected a lot more.

608k first week after a five year hiatus.

Then the 2nd week?

And the 3rd week?

He had to smell Sacha Cohen's ass to increase his sales number.

Recovery top the billboard 200 charts for 7 straight weeks if i'm correct and the sales didn't decrease like Relapse, thanks to LTWYL.

Come one dude 4.5 mil WW is really good....

Yeah it's good.

But i mean Interscope know that he can sale a lot more than 4.5 mil. (2mil in the US).

Look at Recovery.

I just think that Interscope were not really happy with Relapse sales, that's why they scrapped Relapse 2, and then we had Recovery.

But Relapse IMO is a good album.

Relapse sold 2.3 million in the U.S, 6 million WW
Recovery sold 4.3 million in the U.S, 7.3 million WW

So Relapse technically sold more than Recovery WW.
Singles don't mean shit man, look at Rihanna's album sales and compare them with her singles sales.

Relapse 6 millions WW are you really sure?

And u think that without LTWYL it would have stay on top during 7 straight weeks?

The original plan was to put "No love" for second single. It would have help the album but not as much as LTWYL.

Sorry for my approximative english.

Yes, i'm pretty sure it sold 6 million.
@Trimss...they probably got it from Wikipedia, 2 months ago it was 7 million.
Anyone can edit that.

Actually, Wikipedia got it from them. Lol I don't know but I'm pretty sure it's more than 7 millions.

And Relapse didn't sell more worldwide either.. It misses some country but the country that are on both, you can see Relapse clearly sold less.

Left Relapse - Right Recovery

Tone Down The Flow
More Original Concepts
Beats By Dre
Decreased Label Influence
Renegade Pt. 2

These are the ones I want. But seriously, passing the torch? Fuck that, what kind of rapper makes an album just to "'pass the torch?" Lol. And fuck grown up content, I'm tired of hearing about how bad a millionaire's life is. I'd rather hear more verses like Richard and C'Mon Let Me Ride, at least those songs are the reminiscent of the old Slim Shady. Which is what everyone wants back, but strangely it's getting tough for people to see the similarites.

A little update, now we're sure the switch wasn't natural.

“My favorite music from that period (2009 when Eminem’s “Relapse” was released) was on ‘Relapse 2,’ but it never came out,” 50 said. “He ended up going to ‘Recovery’ because he didn’t like the response he got from ‘Relapse.’ We got probably enough material around that we could probably put out an EP or something like that – me and him did just over the years.”

50 Cent said this.

R2 sounded like it would've been good, but ultimately, I'm glad he switched directions.
