Who really thinks

Postby Blu » Jan 14th, '13, 01:15

If Em dropped an album sometime this year, it'd be "his" year in rap?

He'd own the year in rap. Get the most awards, highest first week sales...rap would be all about him.

Who thinks this is true?

It depends on the quality of the music on the album.

Why do you people ask these stupid ass questions, like he is new to rap or underrated.

He's one of the biggest names in music. Of course when his album drops it will be huge. We are talking about someone that has sold over 80 million.

It will win awards even if it's a pile of shit, or at the very least be nominated.

Hmm....the biggest artist of the past 15 years being a big deal....it's a stretch, but I'm going to vote yes.

That's always the case with Eminem. See 2010.

All of that happened in 2010.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

Well, it'll probably be like the second most sold rap album of the decade, right after Recovery.

Depending of the direction the album is taking, I can see it selling even more than Recovery.

It's certainly possible, but Kanye had a better album than him in 2010 and he will again in 2013.

Recovery was good, but it certainly did not deserve to win AOTY.

When's the last time you heard about Eminem? When's the last time you flipped on a music channel and heard an Eminem song? Or how about turning on the radio and hearing an Eminem song?

This whole thing he has going on where he pokes his head out every five years and drops ONE album isn't doing well for him. His biggest and most important audience - teenagers - are losing interest very quickly.

It's not hard for a guy like Em to just fade away, especially with these other rapper's popularity growing IMMENSELY. Kanye, for example.

Eminem because young girls just can't get enough of him. He always sells more than everybody else, and Interscope does a great job promoting Em's shit unlike they're other artists.

But honestly CanadaPure & I will rule 2013, we will be releasing our EP this year.
