I was browsing ITunes today and so this "Shady Project" which is by Bad Meets Evil popped up.. however it's all old leaked recorded songs.. anyone have information on why and how was this released? It is released on Itunes so is it official?

This is a mixtape someone put together and then submitted for publishing through TuneCore, most likely.
They lied on their submission form and said that it didn't contain any copyrighted material, and that it was their own. Then this mixtape got distributed to iTunes, rdio, and a bunch of other music download sites. This is obviously a violations of the Terms of Service that they agreed to with their distribution platform, and they could end up getting in some trouble over it.
