I honestly do not like Kendrick Lamar AT ALL. His music sounds the same as Wiz Ka Queefa's to me, all terrible. When I saw all the promoting Lamar was getting I was astonished, how could this guy be more popular than Yelawolf? I absolutely adore Yelawolf, he is in my top 5 rappers at the moment. Yela has his own flow, but Lamar is all twisted up and to me, always will be. The only song I like by Lamar is Compton, the song he did with Dre.

Gee, I wonder why he'd want B.o.B on Shady. Because Yelawolf fucking flopped? :coffee:

Your face is terrible, bruh.

But they're...nothing alike.

I'm not saying you have to like Kendrick--I appreciate what he does, but I wouldn't say I'm a fan--but saying his music is like Wiz Khalifa's just makes me think you must not have listened to him all that much. Wiz is a party-weed-blah-blah-blah-rapper. Kendrick is an artist, that takes risks and pushes a message behind his music.

The fact that his biggest song is a drinking song that isn't even really a drinking song speaks to that notion. He could have sold out and made a bunch of party records, but he didn't. He made an album full of sounds that challenge you, themes that make you think, and a presentation that is cinematic.

I'm a Yelawolf supporter, and I hope he takes a page or two from Kendrick's book when his album drops. Not necessarily in terms of style or content, but rather going with the notion that being truly artistic and true to oneself can and will work if the music is good.

I Agree, I may not have listened to enough of Lamar's music, I guess I could try and give him a go again. I am also a huge Yelawolf supporter and if he does follow through with what Kendrick did with his album Yelawolf will do great.

Are we listening to the same B.o.B? He done fucked up his own career, his last mixtape was worse than French Montana's singles and his last album was a disappointment.

He's been terrible ever since Iggy Azalea joined the team.

Yeah, I guess your right.
I loved his first album and the first 2 or 3 mixtapes,
but his last album really did suck but i still hope he will go back to the sound of his
first album.
I like his "rock" music better then his rap music, i guess that's why i didn't like his second album that much.

Em, sign him already!
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Does T.I.'s deal necessarily include the existing Grand Hustle artists? B.o.B's contract with Atlantic probably isn't over.
