Funny, but those guys fucked up and thought that the record label would do all of the work.

Yelawolf, who actually did get an album released, realized that it didn't make any sense to just sit around and do nothing. Stat Quo made a shit ton of music--for Detox, his album, etc--but did nothing with it. That's why he left too...but he really wasn't an artist. He was just a rapper, to me.

Bobby Creekwater was just going to sit around and wait too. He didn't prove his worth, and to be honest, I'm not sure how worthy he really was. Yelawolf IS an interesting and worthy artist, and builds his own buzz independent of the label, because he isn't going to let industry politics leave his career stagnant.

Shady Records really is an awful label, at the end of the day. Their track record is now officially running into "horrendous" territory, with only a few legitimate successful releases, and a former roster of artists that wasn't worth releasing in the first place. Now that they DO have worthy talent, they seem intent on fucking it up.
