Definitely agree. Or at least when he raps fast, to just stay one speed and not force too many words in a line.
When has he done that recently?

He can make it work sometimes. But he needs to just get back into his wheelhouse.
He's seemed to have forgotten to pay attention to what sounds good. Having witty, creative, smooth lyrics that sound good.
He seems too concerned with trying to fit in. Like he is trying to find a new relevant sound. "rap" these days are on these really overly produced shit beats and the sounds rely way too much of punchlines and em has fallen into that.
Em can make amazing stories rapping really simple words. All the greats can do that. He's done it throughout his career.
I'm too lazy to find some lyrics to make my point. But you stans probably have every em song memorized by now and know what I am talking about.

I loved his voice on there. And I really never felt that he over did it or anything. Some of the songs the accent really isn't even there.
I really think Em can win no matter what subject matter he goes with as long as they are smooth, well written on good beats. He isn't held down by his past because he jumps around so much. What I mean is he has his personal life, he has serial killer stuff, he really has jumped around a lot his entire career and that opens him up more to growth, unlike someone like Nas who feels he has to talk about Queens bridge and New york all the time. That he has to talk about the streets. Or snoop dogg with women and weed.
I don't feel like Em has a set "thing". He covers so many topics. I really hope he combines crazy and personal. Like the eminem show mixed with relapse. Just smooth.
Yeah man. That's why I love Relapse so much. It's just... so easy to listen to. It's nice on the ears hearing everything from Dre's beats to Em's smooth flow and voice coupled with his lyricism and infectious delivery.
It's nice.
I like verses like My Life, but it's all over the place. He needs to find that comfort zone again like he had on Relapse and either get Dre or himself to produce most of it. If he does that, and comes up with more original stories like As The World Turns and Brain Damage, I think we could get some great material.

The Our House verse is the epitome of him slowing/calming it down. He hit the beat perfectly, which was an indifferent beat. I'm shocked you would use THIS verse as an example of wanting him to slow/calm it down (THEN CLAIM TO HAVE ONLY LISTENED TO IT TWICE!)
I'm not gonna sit here and defend every em verse as of late, but jeez, pick an example that at least backs up your point.

It didn't bother me on Recovery except for WBD, mostly his post Recovery screaming did.
