It was funny, and now it's just sad. It was almost genius, the obviousness of the joke. The tracks themselves, the features, the fact that it was on fucking iTunes for some reason in a studio, the idea that the cover would look like that...everything about it was an obvious joke.

You'd have to be an idiot to believe it, and that was the funny part. How blatantly obvious it was. Now though, he can't even admit it, because it will get him banned. So he just has to act like a fool.

Kind of makes me sad, for everyone.

As you said, it was blatantly obvious from the beginning he was faking it so whether he plays along like he didn't know or not, we know he actually did know. Y'know?

Right, but that's the point I'm making here.

Granted, posting something fake is breaking a rule. But where do we draw the line on that? Do we follow it to the letter, or do we enforce the spirit of the rule. If he had actually been trying to fool people, it would be one thing, but I don't think that's what he was trying to do.

If it were believable at all, that would be one thing. But it's not, and he made it that way on purpose. So I'm not sure what the "fair" judgement is here.
