The Game recently did a interview with Power 106, where he said he was dropping the Hurricane from his name because of what happened in New Orleans. He also recalled his shoe and is planning on changing the name to something else. He says he doesn't want to profit from a disaster like this.

that's a point, the same situation was with "Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers" - ppl said "omg! you cannot call this move so! etc" because of 9/11. but that was a bit pointless - tolkien has written this book years ago. and the present situation.. if Game thinks, that's ok, so he should do it. maybe that's even better. i thinks he's right.

Yeah the name hurricane wasn't that famous, becasue i did not know it before the Katrina.

dats bullshit he aint gon change it cuz game said "we met in a round table, me and my management and my business partners with the shoe line, and we came up with an alternate solution to keep the name and let it stand as a flagship. Everything we do with the shoe line will coincide with some kind of relief until there's no more shoe line."
