Touchdown was the only song in that list from his pill-era. The other two are 2010

Actually one definition is:

The ideas, attitudes, or activities that are regarded as normal or conventional

No Eminem album is conventional.

Recovery has conventional elements to it, but raging insanity and kicking bitches in their cunt, strangling a woman to death or setting a house on fire is not normal or conventional lmao.

I NEVER think of Encore or his pill era when thinking of blonde Eminem lol. Like Aone said I think of his first three albums.

The only way I can see Encore being the first thing someone thinks about when they picture blonde Em is if they started listening to him or first heard of him during that time.....which absolutely sucks for them.

I highly disagree. There was a plethora of Shady advertising in that period: hats, t-shirts, multiple calendars, posters etc. Eminem was everywhere. Whilst Eminem was on TV a lot during his first three albums, Encore has just as much reason to be a pinpoint for how Eminem looked with blonde hair.

Sorry, are you mentally inept? Can you not read?

At no point did I suggest that Encore Eminem was bigger than 1999-2002 Eminem. He obviously peaked when Lose Yourself and 8-Mile came out. I probably heard him on the radio/saw him on TV everyday then.
I was simply stating that you have overlooked the Encore period to a considerable degree. Maybe it is different where you live, but all his singles from then were played everyday. I can tell you now that his previous albums spurred 1/2 singles which I heard regularly, but everything on Encore got played to death: JLI, Mockingbird, ALT, LTS. That's 4 major singles. It doesn't matter whether they were good or not, Eminem got a lot of attention. Added to this is the merchandise that was released, and this was everywhere too. Shady Records really came into its own in that period, and whilst the spotlight devolved from Eminem to other artists on his label, the 2004 period was hardly 'forgettable'.

There is nothing close to the buzz Eminem had when he first came out. I am not denying that. Kids were dyeing their hair blond, My Name is and TRS were everywhere; but once this reached an equilibrium, Eminem's popularity varied in perception, usually to suit his albums. MMLP was about controversy, TES was about his gun charges and added a bit more controversy, and then after 8-mile it turned to more 'gangsta-rap' with the feuds and Shady-merchandise.

I can remember all of Eminem's career very well indeed. When I think of him with blonde hair I see the zany-white kid who emerged in 1999, and I see the four-eyed (he wore those glasses a lot) pill-popper who left the rap game. Both spring to my mind instantaneously.

It isn't overshadowed, no; but Encore is a memorable period, as opposed to your assertion that it is forgettable.
