Yep, the confusion though probably comes from the fact that when Shady/Interscope was in the process of signing SH as a group they had problems 'cuz all 4 of them had solo deals which made it very complicated & that made all 4 of them rant about it on the net. (esp. Joell) So basically Interscope had to buy off whatever part of their rights to keep the process going which in Joell's case was for a second time in his career since he was signed to Aftermath/Interscope back in the day.
