With a plus/minus 1 week confidence interval, it doesn't have to follow
the exact same pattern. But yes, the predictions are based on the
Recovery album-tour-cycle. Why? Well, first, why not use historic data, if you have such information available. Second, Em & his management has a tendency to follow patterns of what has previously worked. The way in which Em & co. selected these festivals, the location, and the "do as much in one week as possible"-type thinking is very reminiscent of the summer of 2010, don't you agree?
I guess one could argue that the
'BME: HTS' release in 2011 further solidifies my prediction. You'll see that Em performed his first post-album festival
16 days after the release date (compared to 17 days for Recovery). HTS was released June 13, 2011 and he performed at
Osheaga Music and Arts Festival june 29, 2011.
That said, I was just playing with numbers because I was bored. No more, no less.
