Your flow was really good on this song. You flow to the beat and it was pretty smooth throughout the entire thing.

As far as I could tell, your lyrics were alright too. Personally, I didn't enjoy listening to this song too much because I'm pretty critical about the actual quality. You can have a dope flow, dope lyrics, but if your mixing and quality isn't good then the majority of people aren't going to give it a listen.

What type of mic do you use? A lot of times you don't even need to have an expensive mic you just need to work on mixing. How much time do you spend on mixing? Your vocals sound really distorted as if your mic was turned to high when you recorded them... Also you should try putting shadows on it, addlibs, etc.. to make it sound more full and professional.

Keep working at it man!

^ hey thanks for the feedback man, i appreciate the listen. i tried mixing it beforehand, as in bussing all the reverb and delay and whatnot into the track that i'm recording on. idk, i figured it sounds a lil different than before, but i aint gon front like i know what i'm doing loll. i put the gain on real high, ill try backing it down a notch. as far as actual time, I spent a few hours figuring out the levels i needed to put all the plug ins at to be able to hear myself, but other than that, idk what exactly to do lol. i know thats a terrible excuse, but i figured it sounded....better (?) than what I had been doing, as far as mixing.
can i send you the vocal tracks and the instrumental? i know you can mix like a mofo, your vocals be clean as hell, so you could point me in the right direction. i checked, and none of the vocals red lined so we'd be good on that loll
