I never actually heard the song but this is so fuckin' stupid!

Since when did do-rags belong to the African American culture? Weren't they first used by ancient chinese people?

That's interesting, I actually have no idea where the du-rag originated.

But yeah Em got him "And now you try to pull the race card and backfires in your face hard coz you know we do t play that black and white shit"

I've heard tens of rappers mentioning Eminem... crossover wise in that matter.

He just meant EM pretended to be black 'cuz it's very common for black dudes or Latino dudes to wear 'em, esp. back then while it's very unusual for Asian or white dudes to do so.

You're right it was stupid though 'cuz it backfired after EM came back at him... plus EM wasn't even pretending 'cuz obviously he embraced the hip-hop culture as a whole, it wasn't just about rapping or pretending to look like whatever.

Most rappers aren't Eminem fans. They all know he's a beast but nobody listens to his work.

You can tell because almost every time someone references his songs or lyrics they get it all wrong.

I agree. Kendrick Lamar would have been bumping African-American, west-coast, gangsta shit. Shit he related to.

Although, there's certainly a new breed of Eminem listeners, and I'll think we'll see more and more.
