definitely red/blue/yellow and also silver and gold. i feel those were the best ones

Yeah I'd always get pidgie and evolve a caterpie up to butterfree. Like you say, there wasn't much of an option.

Squirtle -> (I forget) -> Blastoise was the best. Fucking loved my Blastoise. I had an obsession with 'Fissure' cos it one hit killed so I taught it to Blastoise so I could one hit kill my rival's venosaur.

Yeah it had an MP (is that right?) of 5. And it usually only worked once or twice out of 5.

Red/Blue/Yellow was my first.

Gold/Silver was my second.

I loved both, but I much prefered Gold/Silver since there was much more content in it (and it was new to me, unlike Blue/Red/Yellow as I've seen the show already).

I didn't play any Pokemon games after that and whenever I've tried I just lost interest

So I found my SoulSIlver. Still contemplating on getting any of the Unova games though as there are sequels, which just seems like a little much since X and Y are coming out later on this year .-.

Yellow is my favorite because of how easily you can get Bulbasaur, Charmander & Squirtle. Although you can as well on Soul Silver which is my second fav

Silver is probably my favourite, even though Blue was the first Pokemon game i had. I heard theres an indie developer releasing Pokemon for pc, and it's multiplayer! I'll see if I can find the link.
